Weekend in Shanghai

Last Sunday was interesting. After a two-hour massage (one hour of full body massage and one hour of foot massage) and a 5km jog in the gym, i decided to explore the town a bit. Armed with the camera, i took the train to downtown Puxi, Jingan Shi Station. The ride was pleasant and it took only about 15 minutes to get to my destination. Following a hand-drawn map from my friend V, i made my way to a market selling clothes and accessories. There were many stalls and the stalls were not very big. In fact, in some of them, one barely has space to move when more than one customer is browsing. It being summer now, most of the clothes being sold are lightweight cotton and colourful, and suit Singapore's climate well. I stepped into one shop, and the shopkeeper, a friendly middle-aged man started talking to me.
"hey, you are not local right? you are very cute. are you here on holiday or for work?"
"for work"
"do you want to have drinks later?"
err... what do you mean, of course not!
"oh no thanks, i am not free tonight."
I ended up with only a bag, a top and a pedicure from this market. And the only reason is because i ran out of cash as i forgot to top up my wallet with $$. I will probably visit the market again this weekend, and bring more $$.
