We started from Hort Park and planned to walk towards VivoCity. Big k did not join us as he had dragonboat practice. It was my first visit to Hort Park and i was pleasantly surprised. Hort Park gave me a new, well-organised and well-maintained feeling. Less than half hour into the walk, it started to drizzle. We rushed to seek shelter under the nearest pavilion. Slowly, people started to join us under the shelter. K and V saw people eating sandwiches and started to feel hungry as they did not have breakfast. I had fishball noodle earlier so i was ok.
The rain came and went, and came back again. We ended up having to seek shelter three times along the way. One of the highlights was the Henderson Waves, which we saw from Henderson Road some time earlier when we drove past. At one point, the sun came out after the rain and we could literally see steam coming out from the ground.
Once we reached VivoCity, K and V rushed to buy food. I can imagine how hungry both of them were after the walk. I tried the bcm for the first time and it was quite good. Lots of chilli and vinegar, my favourite.
After the meal, V and I went to Border's as planned. By this time, the rain was so heavy that my shoes were thoroughly soaked by the time i ran across the street into the building. I bought two books - A Cook's Tour by Anthony B and one on the type of food to eat by blood types.
