The first crab meal was at Changi Village. When we got there, it was very crowded and we had to wait for our seat. i was pleasantly surprised when the waitress mentioned that they open up to 1am in the morning. Big K likes gravy where he can dip with fried mantou so we ordered the chilli crab. The crab was huge but the meat was so-so.
Then 2 days later, we went to a seafood place tucked deep within the Defu industrial area recommended by my friend F. This place is simply amazing, though it is right in the middle of nowhere, it is constantly packed and when i called to make a reservation that afternoon, they could only give us a table at 8.45pm. We learnt our lesson from Friday, and requested for 2 smaller crabs, in sambal chilli and butter, to go with fried mantou, of course. This time, the meat was more solid and sweet. The butter crab was fragrant and very creamy. Sinful!
