Flea market

The trip to Shanghai is postponed again! And was i glad that i could go and help my childhood buddy out at her flea market stall outside Tanglin mall. We reached there around 3pm and i lugged all the wares to our spot under the glaring sun. By the time the stuff got to where they were supposed to be, i was drenched in perspiration. As we were starting to set up the stall, a lady holding on to a baby bought 2 bags from S. It was a good start! I was the next to make a sale, my old-but-never-used banana republic bag. It was sold at a very low price (or so i thought, but i thought wrong, as the customers are all professional bargain hunters!) but there was a certain sense of satisfaction.

The 3 of us, who have known one another our whole lives, had fun sitting on small stools, watching people sift through the old clothes. That certainly brought back a lot of memories for S.
