Mould on my leather jacket

Oh no! I opened my wardrobe today and found mould on my favourite leather jacket! Heartbroken is the best word to describe how i felt at that moment.

Besides the obvious pain seeing mould on the jacket, with the start of my new job this month, i have started a new chapter of my life. Like what I told a friend, Monday this week felt like an eternity away. I have decided to take up a job that will allow me to stop travelling and spend more time with family and friends. I love to travel, even for work, and hence this decision is not an easy one for me. I figure that it will take me some time to get used to my new lifestyle. My leather jacket, who had protected me against the wind and cold for the past 2 years, seems to know this too.

Btw, you should not use water to clean the mould. Leather cleaning solutions should be used for cleaning leather.

Was just trying to find answers to my question about what to do about mold on a nice leather jacket. Just opened my closet with my winter clothes and my BEST jacket was just covered. Did you ever find out how to clean yours?

Hi Elf
In the end, i sent it to a professional dry cleaner. It was good for about a year (no wearing) and now it's starting to come back.
