I am obsessed with Sex... and the City. Yeah lame, i know. Last week, i suddenly got inspired and pulled out my dvds, and randomly selected some discs to watch. It was fun, reacquainting myself with the characters after these years. I have been subconsciously looking forward to the movie, and when it finally started showing today, i decided to be one of the first to catch it.
Sometimes, one likes a movie or serial such that one wishes it can go on for a little longer, i got that feeling today. I lost myself in the glamourous, exciting world where 24-inch waists are the norm, where the world is filled with countless designer bags and shoes, wonderful friends and gorgeous men, and endless parties and cocktails. Call me an escapist, but it has indeed been a wonderful experience escaping for two hours after a long day at work. You either hate the movie or you love it, i happen to be in the second category.
It's not all feel good though, as i experienced some emotional roller-coaster rides with the characters, and nearly broke into tears at one point. Suffice to say that i enjoyed the escape thoroughly, and now it's time to get back to reality and into bed. *yawn*
