Bak Chang

Got home after a long day at work and saw mil preparing bak chang (chinese meat dumplings) for dinner. After a satisfying dinner of 2 bak changs , stir-fried veg and soup, i saw her busy wrapping the dumplings in the kitchen. I observed for about 5 minutes and decided to try and learn from her. She told big k i am a fast learner! ha ha





Actually, wrapping the dumpling is only one small part of the process. Before one can start wrapping, there's loads of preparatory work like chopping the ingredients, frying the meat and cooking the rice. After wrapping, one still has to cook the dumplings for some time before they are ready to be eaten. Looks like i have a lot to learn.
