Jeju Island

I have been wanting to visit Jeju Island. This must be because the island was featured in all of the Korean dramas i have watched and liked - Kim Sam Soon, Goong and the latest, Boys Before Flowers.

Imagine my surprise when i found that the hotel we were staying in was actually the shooting location for Boys Before Flowers, and that i could see the chapel from our room!


We were there for 3 days 2 nights. This was taken on the first day after we checked in and the weather was beautiful. On the second day, it was cloudy and on the third, it was so misty that we could not even see the blue sea; we could only hear the waves. The chapel is on the bottom left corner of the pic.



The chapel where Gu Jun Pyo had his almost wedding. It was very funny when one of the chaps in Seoul asked me why i liked GJP, and that he felt that GJP was very shallow (sour grapes). Come on! Give the guy a break! He's only like 21, 22? How deep do you want him to be? Ha ha!




We visited the Teddy Bear Museum. Seeing this pair of bears made me want to watch Goong again.
