First Tennis Lesson

Bought my first ever tennis racquet last Sunday and had my first tennis lesson last night! I am supposed to let my knee recover first, so last night i put on 2 knee guards, just in case. It had been raining on-and-off for the whole day and i was worried that it would rain at night, but luckily, it drizzled a little, and we could still continue with the lesson.

Our friend, M, a PE teacher, kindly offered to be our coach. Last night, we were taught the correct grip and forehand. It's somewhat similar to golf in that there needs to be a follow-through. My racquet face tends to tilt upwards when it comes into contact with the ball and i even missed the ball a few times. Ha ha... this is what happens when you have no ball-sense. V and K did well, Big K did even better. I need more practice.

Will try to encourage Big K to buy his own tennis racquet. He can then practise with me at the tennis court downstairs.

We will be leaving for our year-end trip to Spain this weekend. So looking forward to it! Will start practising when we get back!
